Strategic Plan (2024-2028)
We envision a strong workforce community where businesses have the employees they need, job seekers have the skills required for the positions they desire, and the region we serve is thriving.
Our 2024–2028 Strategic Plan is built around five core initiatives:
- Workforce Advancement — advancing the current workforce, developing the emerging workforce, and re-engaging the past workforce.
- Enhancing Partnerships — strengthening relationships with employers, educators, and community organizations across the region.
- Technology Optimization — leveraging technology, including AI, to improve staff productivity and program outcomes.
- Resource Management — diversifying revenue sources and strengthening AWE's long-term financial stability.
- Brand Identity & Awareness — building a clear, consistent brand that resonates with job seekers, businesses, and partners alike.
These initiatives guide our work through 2028 and are grounded in four shared values: Human Potential, Collaboration, Integrity, and Excellence.
